This "jean" is made from SDA’s original 14oz. selvedge “Kasezome” indigo-dyed sashiko fabric, woven from 100% cotton with indigo yarn-dyed warp and weft for deep, uniform aging over time. Finished with classic Studio D’Artisan details like engraved copper rivets, hidden back pocket rivets, chain-stitched construction, a deerskin leather patch, and a regular straight fit.
Sashiko is a traditional Japanese textile technique that uses a textured, reinforced weave originally developed for durability and repair, giving the fabric a distinctive raised pattern and exceptional long-term wear character.
