Samurai’s new S510HXII jean is built from a rinsed 15.8oz unsanforized (but rinsed) selvedge denim woven on vintage GL3 shuttle looms, giving the fabric a raw, vintage texture with plenty of character. The denim blends Texas cotton warp yarns with Samurai’s own cotton weft which they grow themselves in Osaka, Japan, resulting in a deep indigo shade, uneven nep, and a rugged hand feel that will only get better with wear. Details include custom metal hardware, a button fly, a selvedge coin pocket, Natural x Silver Lamé selvedge ID, jacquard pocket bags, and a goatskin leather patch. The fit has a slightly higher rise with room through the top block and a subtle taper from the knee down for an easy, classic silhouette.
